Glossy White Chest on Chest with a Chalkboard Surprise

I am so excited that the weather is finally going to be nice for a few days here. I have big plans for finishing a lot of paint projects. This is my latest makeover. It was  part of a set I purchased off Craigslist a while ago.  You can see the matching dresser makeover here. Even though the dresser was already sold I thought I would paint this piece to match. The glossy white paint and crisp black and white color combo just seemed to work for these pieces. I cant seem to find a before picture of this piece but I will show the before of the matching dresser so you can get the idea.

The hardware was spayed a glossy black~

I used chalkboard paint on the inside drawer fronts~

I lined the drawers with my black and white polka dot fabric~

Beautiful! I am new to your website and just love it. I've always been afraid to use color. I just love the way you use color and don't feel so timid about now. :)

Love it in the glossy white. Did you spray it or use a brush? The finish really looks nice. As always, I like your lined drawers and the black and white is fun!

Cute! I love the idea of the chalkboard paint on the drawers, really clever! It made me laugh when I saw this because my step-dad has one almost identical to this one. I've been trying to talk him into a new one for years so I could re-do his for my daughter but no such luck so far! Nice work on yours!

Love the surprise inside! What a great idea painting the drawers with chalkboard paint. I love it and the polka dot liner, too. I have never bought anything on Craigslist - I think I may have to start checking it out more often.
Thanks for linking to the party and showing us your style.
