Another Vintage Grey Buffet

I just can't believe it has taken me so long to see how wonderful grey can be! I have finished another buffet in my favorite Vintage Grey by Eddie Bauer. This piece was an unfortunate auction buy. It had a repaired back leg and I didn't realize it until I got home :(. Luckily it was well done and I was still able to sell the piece. Here is the before~
It wasn't terrible but there were quite a few scratches and some chipping veneer. I love a buffet on legs! Much better after ~

Oh what pretty legs! These vintage buffets really do look completely different with paint. The before and after is striking! And I love that shade of gray too. Another beauty Chrissie!

I must agee about the grey, I'm not usually a fan but I really like this shade, especially on your buffet. It looks really beautiful with an updated contemporary look on a vintage piece. This piece could easily blend into any style of decor.

I love this color! Its seems like I am always picking your link on linky parties. I love your furniture. I am excited to follow you on pinterest! I kinda have a weakness for it. Any way, can I be so bold as to ask you what the paint name and brand you used for it? I have this incredible hutch that I am refinishing for my dinning room, I would be happy to provide a link to your side and give you some props on the post!

Oh Mine! I just love this. I can't believe we owned this exact piece of furniture and when we moved we got rid of it. If I would have seen what you did with yours I would have kept it. You did such a great job.

Chrissie - The gray you chose is awesome - to me gray is a very classic color and you can never go wrong with it! I love your blog - I just found it but will be a frequent visitor from now on. I love refurbished/reworked pieces - they're beautiful and kind to the environment at the same time!

I just found your blog when i did a search for dresser makewovers. I notice that you have done a lot of makeovers on pieces that have damaged veneer. When do you opt to take the veneer off vs. saving it? I have a dresser I recently got and one drawer has damaged veneer. What would you suggest? I"m not sure what to do with it. Your stuff is gorgeous tho! I'm totally inspired.
