Salvage Style Chest

I had the best time with this makeover. It was just plain fun! Here is the before pic~
Hopefully the person who refinished this piece from its previously blue painted state is not reading this blog. I know it was blue because the blue paint is still on the back, I didnt take it off either. So this was at least the third time this piece was made over! My sweet husband sanded this piece for me, I primed and painted using my new spray gun. A Fugi Mini Max~

Oh my, why have I waited to so long???
I distressed heavily using my palm sander and glazed the entire piece with Ralph Lauren Tobacco. I finished the piece with Polyurethane. The awesome knobs came from Hobby Lobby.

Wow...I'm so in love with this piece. I LOVE gray furniture and I love salvaged pieces (even if they are from Hobby Lobby), so naturally, I've fallen head over heels for this awesome transformation you did. So glad I stumbled across your blog. I'm your newest follower!
